Hedi Fonds is the oldest friend organization of the Hercules Association and one of the most loyal. After 16 years since they helped us rebuild/renovate the building that hosts the Hercules Center, Hedi Fonds (Netherlands) is currently helping us repair and insulate the windows of the Center in order to save on the (huge) gas bill during the winter.
We have been impressed by the three senior volunteers from HF who came from the Netherlands especially for us. The three gentlemen, aged between 72 and 78, have been working almost non-stop for the past two days (schedule 8 AM - 8 PM 
) to repair and insulate the windows of the Center.
We are both impressed and very grateful to Hedi Fonds, as well as to the senior volunteers and our good friend Rian van der Horst – a Romanian-speaking Dutch woman, who also came from the Netherlands especially to facilitate our communication with the three senior volunteers.
