Press release: E-FAMILY FINE
The Hercules Association, in partnership with the Social Assistance Directorate of Buftea, Ilfov County, announces the launch of the E-FAMILY FINE project – Focus on Assistance in Integrity Management and Family Identity Links by Integrating Emotional Needs. This project is co-financed by the European Social Fund+ through the "Inclusion and Social Dignity Program 2021 – 2027."
With a duration of 36 months, the project aims to implement complex and personalized measures to reduce the risk of children being separated from their families. It pays special attention to children from disadvantaged families, targeting at least 278 children residing in Buftea. The support services for the prevention of family separation will be provided for a minimum of 18 months for at least 70% of the total target group.
Project Objectives:
- Personalized Services: Each child benefits from a Personalized Service Plan based on a detailed assessment of their needs. This ensures high-quality, relevant support tailored to each situation, with periodic evaluations of the implemented measures' impact.
- Educational Support: The project offers supplementary educational activities and vocational guidance for children, contributing to the prevention of school dropout, improvement of academic performance, and professional orientation.
- Access to Psychological Counseling: The project facilitates access to psychological counseling sessions for children and their families, helping them emotionally manage the risks and challenges they face.
- Access to Legal Counseling: Legal counseling is provided to support families regarding children's rights or specific legal situations that could lead to the separation of the child from the family.
- Prevention of Family Separation: Through accompanying measures, the project helps maintain family integrity, preventing the separation of children from parents due to difficult economic or social circumstances (providing food packages, school supplies, clothing, subsidies, etc.).
- Socialization and Life Skills Development: The project offers children access to extracurricular activities and socialization programs that help develop essential skills for independent living. These contribute to an increased quality of life and personal development (cooking workshops, financial literacy, personal hygiene education, etc.).
- Improving Access to Services: Facilitating access to project services for persons with disabilities, children from disadvantaged backgrounds, and Roma children (30 children).
- Health Prevention and Awareness Support: The project promotes activities that develop independent living skills and a healthy lifestyle, encouraging preventive behaviors.
