A few days ago we had the joy of having at Hercules Center three wonderful people, who write alongside us the story of Hercules Center: Andreas Gschwenter, member of the Board of Directors of Raiffeisen Bank International, donor and spiritual patron of Hercules Day Center; Bogdan Popa, member of the Board of Raiffeisen Bank Romania – a company that sponsors our activity both in Costești and Buftea; Nicoleta Manea, member of the RBI team and coordinator of the Hercules project on behalf of H. Stepic CEE Charity. By coincidence, Nicoleta is Romanian, originally from the southern area of Pitești, where we carry out our activity.
Our guests found us in the middle of spring preparations: once homework was finished, the children were making mărțișoare and greeting cards for the important women in their lives.
The discussions focused on the beneficiaries needs and how we meet them, as well as the progress of both the children and the project. We received the guests in a renovated center and invited them to eat at the canteen where our children eat daily.
As always, whenever we have Andreas in visit, and in general people from the team of H. Stepic CEE Charity, we are impressed by the people we interact with. They impress us through kindness, humanity, a real desire to do as much GOOD as possible, not only on behalf of the organization they represent, but also personally. We don’t know if there are many organizations that can say this, but we love and respect our partners enormously and each visit from them is a true joy. Every encouragement from them motivates us to continue getting involved in the community, despite the difficulties we face.
